TEAK

Material

We use teak for most of our outdoor furniture, as it requires little care and maintenance. Teak is a heavy, hard, and sturdy type of wood. The high content of natural oils makes it highly weather and rot resistant and is, therefore, a good choice for outdoor furniture. We use only core teak teak because it is richer in natural oils making it evenly grained, more weather resistant and longer lasting than the outer teak wood. 
 
Maintenance
As our teak furniture is untreated, the surface will patinate over time and eventually turn into a beautiful silvery grey colour. This beautifully patinated look does not affect the durability or quality of your furniture. If you wish to preserve or intensify the original honey-golden colour, use a suitable furniture oil on a regular basis. No matter what you choose, the wood will be resistant to everyday wind and weather thanks to the high content of natural oils. To prolong the furniture's lifespan, we recommend cleaning it at least once a year. This will remove algae and dirt and make your furniture more resistant in all weathers, all year round.

 

WESTERN RED CEDAR

Material

Western Red Cedar is a good choice for outdoor furniture as the wood is naturally resistant to bugs and insects, mould, decay and bacteria. As the wood is untreated, the surface will patinate over time and eventually turn into a beautiful silvery grey colour.

Maintenance

If you wish to maintain the original amber coloured appearance, treat the wood with an appropriate furniture oil. Be aware that the oil will darken the wood a tad. To prolong the furniture's lifespan, we recommend cleaning it at least once a year. This will remove algae and dirt and make your furniture more resistant in all weathers, all year round.

 

CUSHIONS

Material

Our cushions are designed to withstand wind and weather as the upholstery fabrics are extremely colour and lightfast as well as water and dirt-repellent and even mildew-resistant. 

The cushions dries exceptionally quickly, even after a heavy downpour, as the foam has an open-cell structure that allows both water and air to pass through. The foam provides a firm and comfortable texture that remains the same year after year.

STEEL

Material

Stainless steel is a light and long-lasting material with superb strength and is easy to maintain. This makes it a perfect material for outdoor furniture as it can withstand all kinds of weather. 

 

POWDER COATED ALUMINIUM

Material

Powder coating is a high-quality and dry finishing process which makes it possible to create a thicker and more streamlined surface than with conventional liquid paint. The coating is applied on the light-weight aluminum in order to reduce the risk of impact from moisture, UV, scratches and corrosion.
